Refund policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026

KnowItBy is a digital membership service and does not ship physical goods. This policy explains free-trial charges, cancellations, and refund requests.

1. Free trial

Eligible memberships include a seven-day free trial with $0.00 due at enrollment. You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first recurring charge. The exact first charge date and amount are shown at checkout and in your membership center.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from Account settings → Manage membership → Cancel membership. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated during cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current trial or paid billing period.

3. Refund eligibility

Because access is provided digitally, completed recurring charges are generally non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by law. We will review requests involving:

• a duplicate or clearly incorrect charge;
• a charge processed after a cancellation completed before the applicable renewal deadline;
• unauthorized use of a payment method, subject to verification and payment-provider procedures;
• a material billing error; or
• another circumstance in which applicable law requires a refund.

4. How to request a refund

Use our contact page or email support@knowitby.com. Include the account email, charge date, amount, and a brief explanation. Do not send a full payment-card number. We may request information needed to verify the account and transaction.

5. Processing

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method through our secure payment system. Bank processing times vary. A refund does not automatically delete your account or study data.

6. Your legal rights

This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer right available under applicable law.
